Each study has its own rules about who can participate. This is called “eligibility.” And may be based on age, overall health, type and stage of a disease, treatment history, and other conditions.
Not everyone who is interested in a study is eligible for that study. Patients may be turned down simply because they do not have certain characteristics required by the study criteria, such as gender or age.
If you don’t qualify for any studies you’re interested in, we’ll keep your information on file and reach again when a new study you might match with is added to our database.
These trials take place in hospitals, doctor’s offices, universities, and community clinics around the world. By talking with a recruiter, you can get the address of the location closest to you.
